The 30th Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Partnership Summit has kicked off in style in Visakhapatnam, with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu setting an ambitious tone. Speaking at the crucial India–Europe Business Roundtable ahead of the main event, CM Naidu positioned Andhra Pradesh not just as a state, but as the "gateway to India's vast market," ready for a new era of global partnership and investment.


The summit, jointly organized with the Government of Andhra Pradesh, has already generated massive momentum, with major investment announcements rolling out even before the Vice-President's formal inauguration.


🤝 Strengthening the India-Europe Strategic Partnership

CM Naidu’s address at the roundtable, attended by dignitaries including H.E. Mr. Gevorg Papoyan, Minister of Economy, Republic of Armenia, and industry leaders from Switzerland and Germany, focused on leveraging the decades-long strategic partnership between India and the European Union.

  • Speed of Doing Business: The Chief Minister highlighted AP's unmatched "speed of doing business," citing swift clearances as a core commitment to efficiency and transparency. He mentioned Premier Energy receiving clearances in 45 days and Reliance setting up the world’s second-largest brewery with approvals in a month.

  • Sectoral Leadership: Naidu identified Green Energy, Infrastructure, Information Technology (IT), and Innovation as the four pillars of AP’s economic strategy, urging European investors to capitalize on these areas.

  • Vision for the Future: He unveiled plans to establish a Drone City and a Space City, and develop a Quantum Valley in Amaravati, aiming to produce quantum computers within two years.
